Improving Seniors’ Strength and Balance

Ready2Nurse aims to promote longevity, fall prevention, and fast and safe recovery if health incidents occur. One way to meet that goal is to regularly do exercises to improve strength and balance. Our teams of nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists design individualized plans of care including home exercise programs. When available, we encourage family members or caregivers to remind and support our patients to consistently practice their exercises. Consistency with an appropriate exercise routine is key to building on physical strength and balance skills.
